Congratulations on your engagement, and thank you for your interest in my wedding photography services.

I'm not a "wedding photographer" per se, rather a magazine & advertising photographer who also accepts a select few wedding assignments
(about 1/2 dozen) each year in the Chicagoland and New York City areas.

My wedding photography business began as a courtesy to a client, a magazine editor, who asked me to shoot her wedding in the documentary style that I
provide for magazines, more "telling the story" of the wedding as a photojournalist rather than as a formal wedding
photographer, a style that's more and more in vogue lately. This is what I would propose to do for you and your fiancee.

Because wedding photography is a sideline for me (I continue to concentrate on magazine photojournalism, corporate and advertising
assignments) I don't maintain a "wedding" portfolio. However I'm confident that, after you've seen my other work, you will appreciate
what I do and understand that I'll photograph your wedding competently and tastefully in the documentary style.
